TMetaDump

TMetaDump is a homebrew application for the Nintendo Switch which dumps the metadata of all installed titles.

Usage

Download the latest .nro and launch it through the homebrew menu. Wait until the dump is completed (progress is displayed on screen).

Compiling

Clone the repository to your already setup Switch homebrew development environment, and run:

git submodule update --init
make -j$(nproc)

JPG filenames

I tried the tool and it works great! This is so amazing for the project I want to do. Thank you for making it!

Just a tiny request if I may, is it possible to have the filenames be named the Title Name of the game? I had planned to use the icons in my front-end game manager, and I'm having some trouble thinking of a way to batch rename all of them from the TitleID to the game name on my PC after-the-fact.

subdirectories with date / images optional

This is quite a nice tool when organizing installs on a Switch, I wonder why no one mentions it.

It works perfectly well, however it would be really nice if it would be possible to write to a subdirectory with a current datetime (sortable, so like 'yyyy-mm-dd_hh_mm') and also maybe to have a mode where only a json file would be created - to save space and therefore encourage to use this tool often (then the filename itself could contain a date).
