lexicon's Issues

Include initialisms

It would be nice to be able to say common initialisms (e.g. HDMI, CPU, ATM, etc.) rather than have to spell them phonetically. LED already seems to work and CIA is close ("ci a" for me).

Remove thee from vocabulary

I am in the habit of saying "thee" instead of "the" for extra clarity, but Conformer frequently prints that as "thee". Consider removing this from the vocabulary as it is no longer in common use.

month names not capitalized

Re talonhub/community#760: we still need to use words_to_replace to replace month names, because some of them aren't capitalized. January & February are, but no other month names are.

Not capitalized that should be (IMO): April June July August September October November December. (And their derivatives, eg. April's.)

Of these, August is arguable since it's also an adjective (https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/august). But the month is much more common. I haven't included 'may' or 'march' because they're very common English words.

"misrecognition" is missing from the lexicon

the word "misrecognition" is missing from the lexicon. so filing here as instructed on slack:

actually file an issue, seems like a bug in the generation script. in my histogram it's straddled by words that are in the lexicon

The word Pool is always capitalized

For some reason, the word "pool" is always capitalized. This only happens with Conformer and Gen2 (2020-06-20), it doesn't happen with Gen2 enUS. The command history shows a capitalized "Pool", so I think it's a problem with the lexicon and not anything to do with my user settings.

Here are the results saying "I swam in the pool" in each of the three engines:

Conformer: I swam in the Pool.
Gen2 enUS: I swam in the pool.
Gen2 (2020-06-20): I swam in the Pool.

I have fixed this temporarily by adding pool,Pool to the replace_words.csv in my fork of knausj_talon.

I'm using talon v0.2.3 on Ubuntu 20.04.
