1. Downloaded latest version with no sound and such.
2. ./configure --without-sdl --with-pdc && make

Instead of making the game, I get this bit at the end:

configure: error: Cannot find required Xaw header file Box.h; PDCurses
cannot be configured

I'm using the download from the main page on Ubuntu 8.04.

Please let me know how I can fix this prblem if it's on my side (which I'm
guessing it is?)

secret rooms would be randomly placed in the dougeon, requireing first
finding a key to unlock their door.

Add music and sound effects to cryptrover

Inventory items can be used when needed. using them will either depeleate
the battery (wands), be restricted to a limited number of times (potions),
or both.

Add new monsters other than arachnids.

add difficulty levels

Add treasure & a high score board to cryptrover.  

Switch from curses to sdl.

doom-like keys and doors.  maybe visible from the beginning

divide main() to init(), processPlayer() and processMonsters() functions.

Add window border around win/lose messages

add traps

inventory should hold items that can be reused when needed.
