What is Yusei Magic?

Yusei Magic is a font based on handwritten letters written with permanent marker. It has thick vertical strokes and thin horizontal strokes, so it is highly visible. The design of the letters has both the strength of bold lines and the softness of spaciousness. Highly recommended for handwriting on blackboards and pop art designs. This font includes Google Latin Core, Hiragana, Katakana, JIS level 1, level 2 and IBM Extended Kanji (Han) glyphs.

「Yusei Magic」について

「Yusei Magic」は、2010年公開のフォント「たぬき油性マジック」をもとに新規に作成した、ペン字スタイルの手書き風日本語フォントです。極太な力強さとゆったりとした柔らかさの両方の特徴を併せ持ち、またペン先の形状を生かした太い縦画と細い横画で視認性・可読性を高めています。見出し・本文ともに使用可能なPOPフォントです。

Tanugo source integration

I've found your derivative work Tanugo https://tanukifont.com/tanugo/,
released under the same license without source files.
(I especially like Tanugo-Round-Bold and Tanugo-ExtraLight.)

Could you please include the source files of Tanugo in this repository,
or in a separate repository, or integrate into YuseiMagic-* variants?

P.S. Yusei Magic is now packaged in Debian. I've updated the goby package,
WYSIWYG presentation tool for Emacs, to include a sample configuration
to use Yusei Magic. Thank you.

Improve spacing in Latin glyphs

Overall, the spacing (sidebearings and kerning) could be greatly improved for the proportional Latin.

Register Vendor ID

The vendor ID included in YuseiMagic is tanu, however, that vendorID appears not to be registered with Microsoft. Please register here.

Overall latin weighting a bit unbalanced

Note how dark some letters are compared to other letters.

dots and minuses

Hi, we love your font!
But we discovered a few inconveniences regarding the dots and minuses, when using it in a domain.
The Spacing after a dot is a bit too much and the minus is too small.
It would be really cool, if you could make there less space and the minus to look like the other lines.

Shrink font size?

Hello. I love your font and am currently using it for developing my personal website, is there any way to reduce size of the TTF file? 6 MB for a single font that is used only for latin seems like overkill.
