Currently the bot pulls stat from stats.nba.com. This allows for some more advanced and fantasy related stats collected by the NBA, but they are relatively useless for the purposes of this bot. Scraping another stats website such as Basketball Reference would allow for stats that go as far back as 1946.

Google sheets was never meant to be the permanent solution for storing data the bot accesses. Although the queries the bot makes don't need to be particularly fast, google sheets is really slow and every second saved on accessing the data is a second faster that the bot responds to requests.

Verbage needs to be updated when printing the career stats of current players. Should say average[s] rather than average[d] in this case since he is still playing.

Currently the bot can only handle NBA stats. A new scraper created for Basketball Reference as mentioned in #3 would allow the bot to be used for all the other leagues supported by Sports Reference such as NFL, MLB, NHL and college sports.

Using AWS Lambda triggered via CloudWatch events may allow for better DB integration and performance after transitioning away from Google Sheets
