How to run

Firstly, open up a console and navigate to the working directory. install all dependencies using yarn like so:

yarn install

Now you can run the following command which can be foUnd in package.json:

yarn run start

You will then be asked to enter the starting co-ordinates and a set of commands in the format given in the spec.

Testing

I installed jest and ts-jest for handling unit tests, these can be run with yarn by using the command:

yarn run test

arachnidrobotics-assignment's Issues

MK1 robot commands were programmed assuming wrong starting position

We need to verify how this affects the clarity of the code for future engineers and for maintaining the current Mk1 bots.

Unit tests for basic actions

We've tested that if we apply complex commands we get the right result, but we should add some tests showing what each individual command should do so that we can have full coverage.
