TWRP Device Tree for X96 Max (u212)

The Amlogic X96 Max (codenamed "u211/212" or "franklin") have following parameters:

Compile

First checkout Minimal TWRP with OmniROM Tree:

repo init -u git://github.com/minimal-manifest-twrp/platform_manifest_twrp_omni.git -b twrp-9.0
repo sync

And execute these:

export ALLOW_MISSING_DEPENDENCIES=true # Only if using Minimal TWRP Tree
. build/envsetup.sh
lunch omni_u212-eng
mka recoveryimage

Installing:

Testing it:

fastboot boot out/target/product/onclite/recovery.img

Flash it via fastboot:

fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

Or use Official TWRP App to install it.

Is there any plan to support S905X4 Android 10 and above

seems like this one is for amlogic S905X2, just wondering is there any plan to support S905X4 Android 10 and above? Thanks!

Which TWRP to use?

I have the following TV boxes links below and I am trying to backup the main partitions like (boot,recovery,system,vendor,???) in order to remove bloatware, swap in my app as the app launcher, create an image of system? so I can flash to other similar TV boxes.

I booted the recover mode and tried to load from micro sdcard either of these images but it said failed
twrp-3.6.1_9-0-u212.img.zip
twrp-3.4.0-0-twrp.img.zip (what twrp for twrp? is this a generic recovery partition?)

I appended .zip because these files would not show up when I select in the recovery boot "Update from sdcard" or "Update from udisk"

You are the closest I come to regarding these boxes from of the dozen of videos/posts I hit on are phone oriented.
