Promptopia is a cutting-edge Next.js application designed to revolutionize prompt generation and management for AI models. This project leverages the powerful features of Next.js to deliver a seamless and performant user experience, focusing on scalability, maintainability, and developer productivity.

This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app.

Setting up the Project

Prerequisites

Make sure you have the following installed on your machine:

• Git
• Node.js
• npm (Node Package Manager)

Cloning the Repository

git clone https://github.com/teja-86/Promptopia.git
cd Promptopia

Installation

Install the project dependencies using npm:

npm install

Set Up Environment Variables

Create a new file named .env in the root of your project and add the following content:

NEXTAUTH_URL=http://localhost:3000
NEXTAUTH_URL_INTERNAL=http://localhost:3000
NEXTAUTH_SECRET=
GOOGLE_ID=
GOOGLE_CLIENT_SECRET=
MONGODB_URI=

Replace the placeholder values with your actual credentials. You can obtain these credentials by signing up on these corresponding websites from Google Cloud Console, Cryptpool (for random Auth Secret), and MongoDB.

Getting Started

First, run the development server:

npm run dev
# or
yarn dev
# or
pnpm dev
# or
bun dev

Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.

You can start editing the page by modifying app/page.js. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.

This project uses next/font to automatically optimize and load Inter, a custom Google Font.
