Either I'm misunderstanding the usage of these functions, or they are unusable with units such as em or px. I tried the following:

$side: 2em;
width: sqrt(pow($side, 2)/2);

which fails with the following error: node_modules/mathsass/dist/functions/pow:13: error: cannot add or subtract numbers with incompatible units

How would one alter your logarithm function so that a second (optional) parameter could be passed that specified the base?

CSS support 4 angle units (deg, rad, grad and turn)
mathsass only support 2 (deg and rad)

Hey @terkel this is a really nice library. I was glad to find it, because other Sass implementations of pow() for example do not allow fractional or negative exponents.

Have you considered putting it up on Sassmeister? If you're interested you should connect with @jedfoster who maintains it, he helped me get my own library sass-list-maps up there. Cheers and thanks.

Was wondering if there's any want to update this library to work for the new canonical version of sass?
Currently I am getting a bunch of deprecation warnings around the use of the / (division operator) which sass >= 1.33.0 would like to be accessed through the @use "sass:math"; syntax.

Willing to open a PR if someone could push that up to NPM (will be a breaking change as it relies on language features only available in the dart-sass compiler).
