Archival Notice

With the introduction of EasyAntiCheat in the Security Update, VRChat modding is no longer possible. No further work will be done with these mods and therefore, this repository has been archived.

Preface

Modification of the VRChat client is a violation of VRChat's Terms of Service, is not officially supported or endorsed by VRChat, and can result in an account ban. However, if using mods that enhance your user experience and do not harm the experience of others, it is generally safe to say that no bans will be issued, as generally, they are undetectable by other users.

The mods listed here (except AdBlocker) require VRChatUtilityKit. Please be sure to install it before using any of my mods! You can get it here.

Building Locally

1. Ensure you have the latest .NET SDK 6
2. Ensure you have run VRChat with MelonLoader installed at least once (to generate the needed assemblies)
3. Install VRChatUtilityKit to path/to/VRChat/Mods
4. Change the first VRChatPath property in Directory.build.props to the path of your VRChat installation.
5. Build in your favorite IDE or run dotnet build in the repository's directory

[Feature Request] ProPlates pronounDB Integration

Ask Cynthia to add VRChat (your mod) Support to use pronounDB to get a Player's pronoun choice.
So far this DB uses Discord, Twitch, Github, Facebook, and Twitter. It usually adds tags/text next to a user's name to indicate preferred pronouns. Maybe Cynthia would be interested in adding basic VRC integration.

Or just grab the user's Discord pronoun and have it override your csv, and also, of course, have the manually added pronouns.

The Powercord plugin integration Cynthia made looks like the image below. (I added a magenta line under the pronouns)

[Bug] ProPlates Plate overlaps with avatar interaction icon and user volume plates

The ProPlates "plate" overlaps with the user volume and avatar interaction indicator plates when the quick menu is open. When the quick menu is open, the ProPlates plate should move to the side of the other ones. Example:

Ignore unmute on world switch

When muted, and I join a new world and have my "join muted" setting off in VRC native settings, I hear the unmuted sound. I'd prefer this to be not heard when joining a new world.

Feature Request: Offset Settings

Inquiring for offset settings for the plate, as it overlaps with custom nameplates. This makes both proplates and modified nameplates and information unreadable. Requesting basic manual offset settings from its default position in the big mod settings menu or via a txt file to enable universal compatibility with such mods. Ability to have a dropdown for default position (above, below, left, right) would be beneficial for otherwise unmodified nameplates as well.

Additionally for modified plate users, toggling of the plate border to be just text would be good for consistency as the color and style of the proplate border clash with some custom plates leading to distraction. Having an option to appear only on quick menu open would also help with this.

[Feature Request] Add support for finding X/Y/Z formatted pronouns in user bios

ProPlates only searches for X/Y formatted pronouns (e.g. he/him) in bios by default but many people use formats like X/Y/Z (e.g. he/she/they) in their bios which ProPlates incorrectly reads as just the last two components (e.g. she/they).
Could you make it so that it will properly search for X/Y/Z formatted pronouns without the user requiring an explicit pronouns: ... section in their bio?
