I installed Kodi 16.0 RC 2 and this skin has a usability problem.

When I try to add a recording from the guide, or manually add a new time, the UI for selecting the days of the week is messed up and does not show the selection.

For example when I tried to add a new timer for 9:00 PM on Sunday, I selected Days of Week and I was presented with a window listing Monday through Sunday. I clicked on Sunday and clicked OK and the timer show MO-TU-WE-TH-FR-SA-__ It looks like it selected all days except Sunday rather than selecting the day I clicked!

I clicked again to edit and as I clicked each day, there was no indication if the day was selected or not. It seems like these buttons act like toggles, but there is no UI indication as to if the day is selected or not until you close the dialog.

I'm using Black Glass Nova skin. I run Kodi on Windows 10 with NextPVR as my backend.

After upgrading to 18 RC5 (Ubuntu), Black Glass Nova will not install and gives an error:
The dependency on xbmc.gui version 5.13.0 could not be satisfied.

It appears this just started with RC5.

We can re-order the menu items (TV Shows, Movies, etc).

We can re-order the sub-menu items.

But we can't reorder widgets, which are by far the most tedious to set up correctly.

Can we get a move up/move down for the five homescreen widgets?

Would it also be possible to expand that number indefinitely? So an add widget button, instead of a limit of 5?

Please let us know how to install this skin on Kodi 19.3 This is the only skin I like and install on my Kodi boxes. I would be willing to even install this skin manually in case its not 100% ready yet if you post the instructions.

Changing the background for home menu items does not change the background displayed in that submenu. For example, if I change the background image for the "TV shows" home-menu item, my custom background is displayed when I select the menu item "TV shows" on the home menu, but the default fanart is still displayed when I enter the "TV shows" menu.

Updated to Leia and confirmed normal operation, however the UP/Down icons at the top of screen in live tv do not change channels using mouse. Via keyboard all is good.

After weeks of wrestling the Titan Skin,,,I have now moved to use the BGN

equally as nice,,wish it had as much customization as Titan,

having said that

can i remove the KODI logo from the left top corner,,,its annoying to me

is there a way to delete the BGN Splash screen,,,when Kodi opens

it is not a PNG file,,,in media folder,,,where other skins store them

Just installed kodi 17.0 beta 1 and installed BGN v 6.0 from the git here.

Having problems with the customization elements of v6.0

Adding a new Main Menu item - this works if selecting an action from the Programs menu;
However if you attempt to add a shortcut to a Video Addon item, it seems to successfully populate the icon (and even automatically loads that addon's own graphic) but the main menu item will simply not execute - does nothing when you click on the icon (or 'enter' with it highlighted); I tried this with several Program Addons (which worked) and even more Video Addons (none of which worked)

The same thing happens with a sub-menu item; for example, under my 'Favourites' main menu item, it already showed the sub-menu items I was already using in v 5.5, with the correct links appropriate for them; again, clicking the sub-menu item fails to launch (indeed does not do anything).
To that same main menu item (Favourites in this case) I added another, new sub-menu item from the programs list - that one will launch, while the other items alongside it, do nothing.
i.e. Similar to the main menu, any shortcut associated with a video add-on (whether an addon direct launch, or a sub-menu item within a particular add-on) will not activate, while one from a program add-on will.

Hope that all makes sense and you have some time to take a look at that. Please advise if you need further information or tests you would like me to try.

I'm using Leia 18.2 and when I open the addon settings window (using the right-click contextual menu), for configuring a video or a program addon does not appear any setting. It only shows an empty windows with the options cancel and defaults. This behaviour happens with every addon I've checked. I attach an screenshot showing the error:

There is no OSD when changing channels with up/down keys. This makes it hard when using "press enter to change channel" option or delay when changing channels.

I can work around this by pressing INFO before changing channels, but it's annoying, it would be nice to have the OSD auto open when pressing up/down.

Why is there no menu for changing settings? There are only skin settings,but the main settings menu is gone, you know, the one that lets the user change skins.

Looking at the web address indicated, that file is not available, and without it I cannot finish the install.

I guess when localization (hun) is missing no text is shown. I think an empty string is shown. In this case only the switch (yes/no) appears in settings menu and it makes difficult to find out what this settings item is about. It might only be an issue on exotic languages like mine (Hungarian), but would be helpful if the original English text will appear in this case. Now, my only solution is to change back the language to English in order to see the text of certain settings items.

Hello everybody,
I just updated to leia and installed black glass nova from master in order to get back the UI I've become so used to. It's still great!
However, I've noticed that the very convenient "download subtitles" button in the OSD menu bar is now gone, and I have to go into a menu, go down to download subtitles, to then download the subtitles.
Can we have the "extra navigation" bar back?
I'm not sure I use any of those terms correctly...
