I've been working in tech for more than a decade now and I'm ready for my own toolchain so I don't have to deal with other people's halfly satisfying projects.

Project Rename

Name ideas:

• Foresight Smart Keyboard

Places you need to update:

Foresight Buffer

The buffer that shows the best option that if the user presses Tab they will automatically fill the string with it:

• Small caps character sets (UTF-8 support required)
• Different color if possible to do so (I don't think it's possible for most places)

Backspace

Utilities we need:

• Remove a character
• Remove a word
• Remove a line

Settings

Settings will include:

• GUI settings

String identification system

A system that identifies all kinds of string types:

• URL
• Linux command
• Programming language codes
• Email addresses

String identification sources:

Where do we get those strings?

• Clipboard (user is selected something, clipboard can be checked)
• User typing

File Path provider

• Files on this system
• Remote file systems path provider using configured SFTPs

Handle OS/User signals

It should be able to handle the user signals (Ctrl + C) and shutdown gracefully.

Foresight Menu

• A pop-up menu written (probably) in Qt
• Shows up with all the possible predictions and autocompletes and stuff with a nice GUI in the right place
• Window size picker
• Window coordinate picker (finds the best place to put the menu)

• Information in the menu:
• Actions:
  • ESC: Close
  • Tab: accept the foresight
  • Tab Tab: switch to the foresight selection mode
    • Up/Down/J/K: up and down
