[1.4] Remove/migrate throwing items

The throwing class doesn't exist in 1.4, steps should be taken to modify any thrower class items so that this isn't a problem any more.

Current plan:

  • Convert Pointy Pocket to accessory that adds throwing knives on weapon use.
  • Convert Scroll of Throwing to accessory that adds piercing, gravity immune, throwing knives (or other projectiles) on weapon use.
  • Remove throwing stats from all items.

Remove Boot and Star Threads

Boot. is made somewhat redundant by the Terraspark boots, and I suck at balancing the movement speed for both boot and Star Threads (to the point where I'm somewhat frustrated by it). I'm instead more favorable to the idea of removing the infinite jumping accessories (or making an early-game charm). I think it would be worth changing these items to be unobtainable IOUs. The boot should probably be crafted into terraspark, and Star Threads perhaps into some early hardmode wings?

Recovery buff causes issues above 500 HP

Mods increase player HP above 500 using their own methods, unfortunately, the Recovery buff keeps trying to forcefully cap player HP at 500 if it goes over this limit.

Add custom jump to Silver Wings

At some point, it would be a neat idea to implement a custom jumping animation for the Silver Wings, preferably something that looks like wings flapping. This is also probably going to be a pain to get right, but it will be a fun challenge.

Buff duration modification should happen automatically

Currently buff duration updates (caused by the Lapis Philosophorum) don't happen until the player attempts to consume the item. It should update automatically when the player equips/unequips the item. However, using the UpdateInventory hook doesn't seem to work as intended for some reason, possibly because it executes before UpdateAccessory. Not sure what the best move here is just yet.

Implement Chronometer

Right click opens a menu that will allow the player to select the desired moon phase and time of day. Left click will then set that time.

Needs an in-game menu for full implementation.
