The output folder should be cleaned by default or at least the deleted assets should be removed.

#3 may enforce to delete the directory before fetch the data. But an option to skip cleanup (and just overwrite if a conflict happens) may be an option.

Is it possible, to put together a step by step to show how you get this work?

I have the config.json and the contentful-hugo file in the root folder at the same level of my hugo folder.

I get the following when following your instructions...

contentful-connector: command not found

then I try contentful-hugo instead, and I get...

contentful-hugo: command not found

I have been looking for something like this. For a Go novice, how do I use this with Hugo?

At the moment new content entries from Contentful are created with the filename being the same as the entry's ID. This ID can have upper and lowercase letters; this isn't what we want. Especially because of the URLs which are built (Hugo URLs are always all-lowercase).

Requirements for filename:

• all lowercase
• unique
