It is not possible to create a kubevirt resource - token exceeded it's maximum length

Creating a kubevirt compute resource with token that it's length is bigger then 256 chars cause the following validation error:
is too long (maximum is 255 characters)

Set a proper HTTP link for the about page

As the plugin currently has a home - here - along with an issue tracker, perhaps it'd be a good idea to set the link on the about page to point here instead of to http://todo 🙂

Display memory in consistent way

Based on the feedback from the mailing list:

Can you explain why one VM showed 1024Mi where others showed 1Gi for the memory? It looked like it came straight from the API since the console also showed 1Gi where Foreman normally uses GB.

We need to make sure to always use GB while displaying virtual machine memory.

Adding compute resource should have separate port option

Adding a new compute profile currently expects IP+Port in hostname, which makes it confusing, having a separate input option for port would be a better UX

Error shown when x509 cert value was invalid should be better descriptive

Support SSL Communication with Kubevirt

Test connection pass even though the Namespace doesn't exist

When creating a compute resource, the test connection pass even though the namespace that inserted doesn't exist.

Namespace value for Compute Resource is not set by default and not required

As a result, if it is not set by the user, the provisioning of a host fails with a cryptic error.

wrong state message with power off

Power off option shows the wrong message, trying to power off shows that vm in now running
Though power option functionality actually works here, just the wrong message

RFE - Add an option to boot disk

Make Operating System options optional when PVC is also selected

If a user is selecting a PVC, which might have the OS source, defining the Operating system options might would be conflicting or unnecessary, they should be made optional.

Somewhat related to #28

Storage improvements

Currently I see that when creating a new host the storage option are shown, but below are confusions around using it.
-If someone was to create a new claim, user would want to do it with CDI or DataVolume, those options are missing
And in that case, user won't need to select PersistantVolume but rather a StorageClass type because PV and PVC would be controller by Storage controller in most cases, except ones like local-storage.

If user wants to create a Blank disk, just storageclass should be required with Create New Claim (except the cases where there's no dynamic provisioner)
If someone selects a PVC directly, there's no need to select the PV after that, so that option is useless and misleading
In the list of PVC, more details about Storageclass and PVC details should be much better

Cannot see images on Nightly build with updated fog

On a nightly build built yesterday, which has updated fog, not able to see the images created on the compute resource in the list of images when going to provision a host

Change "boot from network" config in provisioning

Currently there are too many confusing options for the network interface during provision to decide if to boot from it or not, there should just be one checkbox

Power operation throws `ComputeResourcesVm not found`

When trying to Power On a VM, it redirects to this error

power states are not synced

After adding the compute resource, the VM states not properly synced, all the VMs show powered off.

Properly handle the lack of the NetworkAttachementDefinition CRD

Currently, if multus isn't installed in the cluster, then pages referencing interfaces will fail to render with an unhelpful message.

This should probably instead just result in an empty list of connection points, along with a more helpful error - something along the lines of;
