Development

To build and run YouShouldRead for local development, run:

docker-compose up --build

To apply database migrations, we use sqitch. To update your local database to the most recent version, run:

cd database/
sqitch deploy

To fill your database with testset data, run:

psql -h localhost -U postgres postgres -f database/testset.sql

Store current page per user of ongoing media

Allow users to store the chapter they last read.

Search sucks. Make it better.

User profiles

Show user info, stuff they've read, stuff they're reading, etc

Genres and search for genres

Allowing users to input these might be bad. Maybe think of a new way to do it? Scales? funny - serious, action - dialog, etc?

This could also learn over time per user.

Unabandon Readings

I abandoned something but now feel ready to read it. Is there a way to do this?

Attach sentry to frontend

Some method of going through the list of things you might want to recommend

Completed works are currently somewhat hard to find. This is generally ok, but when a new user joins this might be clunky.

Allow users to update author, description, etc

This seems to be broken right now... fix it!

Show list of ongoing media

Allow users to see everything they're reading. After #1 is done, this will replace bookmarks, etc.
