Moved assets out of the view in an early commit. Need to rework them to fit the application and move them back into use

Will job title be useful, in practice? My first thought is difficulty in maintaining another database of users. How will integration with erp or directory services work?

Where does a consumable come from and how much does it cost? Use for reporting costs by job or part number.

Add categories tab to main menu bar, with links to a view that lists all members of each Category in a table. This is partially implemented but the detail view only lists Asset members of each Category.

changed the methods in the fixtures controller, fixtures view, and action log to use $fixture->fixturecopies->count() instead of fixture->copies()

There is a null row being returned in the checkout reports. This is because of the aggregate function MAX() being used in the query. It will return a null row if an empty set is returned.

Supplier mode setting

Turn on supplier mode to make your api accessible via a public listing. Your assets (can) be listed in other installations under a "Supplier" menu:

Tools and consumables are almost definitely have an id code assigned to them by their manufacturer.

aggregated items:
Cost summary, supply levels, lead times (would need to add field to consumables)

actions:
generate and send partial/complete purchase request
export to mastercam .tooldb (uses sqlite database)
users/managers can request build

added location, employee number, and manager id to user import

what do we need to know about jigs and fixtures?

• cost (in labor hours or dollars as many fixtures are made in-house)
• part/operation numbers (a fixture can be associated with multiple parts..)
• location (need to go look at how other shops are physically managing their inventory)
• (?) condition/flag for inspection/calibration?
• file attachments? (documentation)
• notes?
