👋 Hi there! I'm Brian Hulette, some facts about me:

• TheNeuralBit is an anagram of my name.

Describe NMDFB

Discuss with Dr. Zaghloul how much we should go into this concept. At the very least I need to mention it, and cite fred harris' paper

Modify Overlap-Save Figures

I don't think Chapter 2 would need too many adjustments beyond adjusting the figures for the overlap-save filter bank and a few formatting changes.

Review entire paper for re-write clarity

Re-arranging the paper might have made some stuff not make sense...

Re-do Overlap-Save graphic

Change Analysis/Synthesis Filter Bank image to use M-point FFT rather than D point

Simulate for bad FFT sizes

Simulate performance of Overlap-Save and Polyphase when FFT size for polyphase must be something that is not a multiple of 2 or 5

Simulate for worst case

Simulate for the case where there is one M=2 synthesis channelizer and others must be larger

Simulation Results Section

Generate some plots of simulation results, such as probability of detection vs. false alarm, runtime, BER, etc... and create a new section describing this.

Expand the introduction

Both of Dr. Zaghloul's example papers have a good introductory section describing the system and various applications. My current introductions should probably be modified a bit, and I should probably add a block diagram showing how the detector and channelizer work together.

Citations for using SCD for detection

Adjust conclusion and future work

Conclusion needs to discuss simulation results, and future work needs to not discuss using simulation for runtime (emphasize theoretical runtime).

Figure illustrating the usefulness of the SCD

Generate a test signal with one (or more) signals at baud rate alpha, and several other signals at other baud rates. Plot spectrum, and SCD at alpha
