Hey - sorry to hear that. I know Google recently made some changes to the LocationHistory.json export (it looks like they inadvertently changed the latitude/longitude fields to unsigned integers when they were supposed to be signed), and I put together a fix for that (8234264).

However, it's possible something else changed too. Would you be up for temporarily securely sharing a copy of your LocationHistory.json file with me so I can work on implementing a fix? If so please send me an email ([email protected]) and I can share a secure link with you. Would love to get the visualizer working for you.

Best,
Theo

Sure, that would be fine! Even if you could just send the first hundred lines that may work well enough.

I have the same problem. I'm uploading my full history (420MB) or just a month (200KB). The site asks for an email address. But then all I see is a blank card. Which I can only scroll / navigate with the arrow keys, but not with the mouse.

Have the issues been fixed? I've tried to upload a history.json today but it did not work.

Same, can't seem to be able to use. Tried with a ~30Mb json file, it uploaded in 3 seconds, but then I get stuck on "Processing data" even after 1hr of wait. Tried several times on Chrome and on Edge, same issue.

Edit: nevermind, it works, I am dumb for forgetting to unzip the JSON file :D

Here's an alternative option which worked for me: https://www.qgistutorials.com/en/docs/3/creating_heatmaps.html
