Verify state distribution

  • Look at state distribution in random matches
  • Look at theoretic state distribution (check mathematics paper)

1st Semester

  • Implement DualTransformer
  • Replicate analytical plots of fingerprints (play with scale and colourmaps)
  • Replicate Plots of fingerprints that appear in Ashlock papers
  • Implement the Dual transformer in the Axelrod library

  • Implement an AschlockFingerprint in the Axelrod library. This class would be initialised with a prober strategy and a granularity. It would have a plot method to get the plot and a data method to get the underlying 2 d array.

  • Fingerprint all strategies in Axelrod: maybe put them in another repo somewhere
  • Also: a JossAnn transformer.

That would serve as a lovely basis going forward for the next Semester during which we would look to implement other fingerprinting approaches.
After points 1 and 2, we would open an issue on the Axelrod repo to get the thoughts of everyone else (given that we’d have done 1 and 2 and be able to discuss how this actually works).
