POC of MediaRecorder with React and Next.js

This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app.

Description

This project is only a POC of how to record audio using the MediaRecord API.

Getting Started

First, run the development server:

npm run dev
# or
yarn dev

Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.

You can start editing the page by modifying pages/index.js. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.

API routes can be accessed on http://localhost:3000/api/hello. This endpoint can be edited in pages/api/hello.js.

The pages/api directory is mapped to /api/*. Files in this directory are treated as API routes instead of React pages.

poc-media-recorder's Issues

Recording is not working in MacOS

After recording, User is unable to play recorded audio. It is showing "Error" in audio player. Please see error message in attached screenshot.

Steps to reproduce:

1. open application in safari in mac device
2. click on "Audio" button
3. record something
4. click on "Stop recording" button
5. Error will be displayed in audio control and dev tools console
