I try to test this on ARM A9,
I tried ' sudo make runtests' and i have this error :

scripts/basic/fixdep: 1: scripts/basic/fixdep: Syntax error: end of file unexpected (expected ")")

Do you know what can be the cause ?

Currently, this code works for ARMv7 A series. I am adding ARMv8 support for it.

hi i am using the raspberry pi 4 -Broadcom BCM2711, Quad core Cortex-A72 (ARM v8) 64-bit SoC @ 1.5GHz

I tried using the updated ARMv8 files but i am still facing error: Unsupported architecture/compiler.

can you please help me

          this kind of problem can be solved by doing : 

cd /usr/linux
sudo make modules_prepare
make module_install

A had this error too and this solved it:
scripts/mod/modpost: 1: scripts/mod/modpost: ��: not found
