countryx's Issues

better transition edit interface

instead of adding one by one, have a page that gives the grid of all combinations of roles and choices and lets the user pick the appropriate next state for each. If any already exist, default them.

game runner role

user role that can set up and run games, but can't edit content.

delete section

UI for this should be easily available in the faculty management interface.

smoother workshop setup

  • create section
  • create a user for each Role
  • set up section turn dates (in the far future)
  • set initial state
  • auth. only facilitator can run this
  • watch for collisions on usernames
  • multiple groups per section

demo mode

One of the really frustrating things with CX is being able to properly demonstrate it and explain how it works. It would be nice for a facilitator to be able to hit a "demo" button and it would populate a fake "section", then go through a few turns, automatically logging in as each player so the facilitator can demonstrate the states and the choices that each player makes. Afterwards, the whole session gets wiped clean.

link to survey

tucker/mark need to put up the survey and let me know where to link to it from (presumably at the end of the sim)

process visual trace

"a way for users to look back through all
possible states, identify which ones they passed through, and identify
missed opportunities for early warning or prevention."

import new content

  • three roles
  • two rounds

content in google docs

Instead of just importing from google docs, I'm building out enough of an edit interface for Roles/States/Choices/Transitions that it can be imported directly.

  • add role
  • delete role
  • edit role
  • add state
  • delete state
  • edit state
  • add staterolechoice
  • delete staterolechoice
  • edit staterolechoice
  • add statechange
  • delete statechange
  • edit statechange

dedicated server

right now it's running alongside my stuff. should set up its own server

Do we have a domain name that we want it behind?

event log

built in log of game events for future debugging/metrics.

should log an event with timestamp, user, ip, and json object for every event in the game. Ideally, complete enough that we could replay a full game in testing.
