becas - biomedical concept annotator

becas is a web application, API and widget for biomedical concept identification.

It finds and annotates over 1,200,000 biomedical concepts in texts and PubMed abstracts, and enriches them with references to public knowledge resources. You can read more about becas at http://bioinformatics.ua.pt/becas/about.

The widget

The becas widget allows you to integrate becas annotation, highlighting and export features in your webpages.

Read more about how to use the widget in the documentation. This repository contains examples of how you can embed the widget in your pages.

The becas application, API and widget are free to use for non-commercial purposes under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial license.
