Lots of questions about pycar14

Spent a little time kicking the tires on Wakari this morning. I think it could meet a lot of our needs, including a terminal, ipython interpreter, sqlite, git, minor file storage and great support for iPython notebooks.
If we gear our class toward scraping, generating, parsing and analyzing CSVs or sqlite dbs, this could be a real time server in terms of not having to spend the first 1.5-hours setting up people's environments. It's all in the browser.

What I don't think it offers, or at least I haven't figured it out yet, is a dev web server for accepting http requests. Since most of our registrants appear to be reporters and CAR editors who aren't doing web development, I don't think this is a deal breaker, but it will require some consideration and planning. I sent an email to Wakari to inquire about this.

It's worth taking a serious look at the documentation and some examples of good ipython notebooks. We can discuss more on Weds.
