galaxy_plugin_bethesda's Issues

Endless connecting

Снимок
What i should do with this? (Sorry if my english is bad, not my native language)

Bethesda Launcher is installed but the plugin doesn't recognize it

Hi there. As the title says, i have the launcher already installed on my system and i have successfully connected it with this plugin through gog galaxy 2.0 client. The problem is that when i hit on "play" it will open the browser instead pointing me on this page:
https://bethesda.net/en/game/bethesda-launcher

It's something like the plugin can't recognize the client which is already installed. The only thing to add is that i've installed it in a custom path and not the default one.

Another note to add is that if i manually run the command to start the game, it runs without any problems:

start bethesdanet://run/5

Bethesda disconnection

It was linked few days ago but now it is disconnected and can not connect more than a few seconds

Not populating my Library

I recently did a fresh install on my laptop and now the plugin will not show anything in my Bethesda.net library. Also had to have MFA turned off to even connect.

Fallout 76 appears as both installed & not installed

I was able to get around it by identifying the .exe of the game itself as a different version of the game, but doing so makes it so it doesn't launch the bethesda launcher and I have to login each time.
I'm attaching all of my bethesda based logs.

Ah. I have a second log that is named the same as the first, but .log.1 which it does not allow me to upload here. I will rename it to .log with a -B at the end of the filename, but before the .log

Thank you for any information or instruction you can provide.

Owned games don't appear on my library

Hi,

I put the Galaxy_Plugin_Bethesda on my GOG Galaxy but it don't show any game of my library, just the free games.

I have owned DOOM, DOOM II and DOOM 3 and it's not displayed on my gamelist.

Best regards,

Some things not detected

I installed the extension and did the whole procedure for the Bethesda.net integration, but these are missing:

  • Fallout 76
  • Creation Kit: Skyrim
  • Creation Kit: Fallout 76

Does anyone know how to permanently remove this plugin?

It won't connect to Bethesda because they have shutdown that API and made people transfer their keys to Steam. The problem is that I can't remove the plugin. It won't connect (it just keeps trying) and when I remove the plugin it gets automatically recreated (from the server?) when I start Galaxy again. I've been told it has to successfully connect for you to be able to remove it? Does anyone know how to work around this issue to either fake a successful connection so that it can be removed or make some other change allowing me to remove it and not have the server recreate it?

Fix 2FA/MFA

This PR seems to only be a temporary patch since it just closes the login dialog after the user inputs their username and password. This breaks the 2FA/MFA authentication process and doesn't let users with those features enabled to login to the plugin.

Plugin does not work with MFA

Without MFA this works as intended.

With MFA after entering username and password, MFA prompt appears but then the login window quickly closes without giving me time to enter the MFA code.

Can't Import Games?

I'm on the latest version of Galaxy 2.0 and I installed your plugin as per instructions and I even added my Bethesda.net account but none of my games are imported (even the installed ones)

Can you help me?

FOG Fork Autoupdate Request

Hey,

we're planning on creating a fork/autoupdate system with selected plugins. This would allow us to create a list of curated and reviewed plugins which could be of use to GOG Galaxy people.

Before we do that we need to ask you to create a fog_release branch which would contain only your plugin code, manifest.json and a requirements.txt file, we will import all the dependencies to the root folder next to manifest.json in our fork.

Example 1:

  • plugin.py
  • version.py
  • manifest.json
  • requirements.txt
  • dependency_1 (imported by us)
  • dependency_2 (imported by us)

Example 2:

  • src/plugin.py
  • src/version.py
  • src/manifest.json
  • requirements.txt
  • src/dependency_1 (imported by us)
  • src/dependency_2 (imported by us)

You will be credited as the creator and developer of the plugin in forks readme and possibly other places.

Doom 64 and Doom are not showing as installed

Despite being installed on my PC, Doom 64 and the classic Doom are still showing the install prompt. Uninstalling and reinstalling the games hasn't changed this.

The game titles are also listed as "Doom 64 (Pre Order)" and "Doom (Pre Order)" by default.
