MD380Tool

This is an Android client for the Tytera MD380, and for the patched firmware provided by the md380tools project in particular. It's probably not stable enough for your use just yet, but we have high hopes for the future.

md380tool's Issues

Firmware Upgrades

The app should be able to flash firmware images in Tytera's standard format.

DMR ID decode without user.db installed (VHF version)

If the name (corresponding to the id), IN THE INTERNAL CONTACT LIST OF THE DEVICE, is long 16 bytes, when firmware reads it, it not founds the terminating 0 (nul) byte (I think) and then, when the name is showed, it appears with some garbage at the end.
If the name is shorter than the maximum length there isn't any problem.

Codeplug Read/Write/Clone

The app should be able to read, write, and edit codeplugs either from the official software or from the radio.

Graceful Reconnect

We should connect as-needed rather than require the user to connect at the beginning of usage.

Text Messaging

The radio should be able to receive and transmit SMS messages.

Better Firmware Sources

We now have two firmware forks, S13 and D13. Close this issue when both are shipped within the applet.

Flash CallerID Database

We should have a screen to flash the caller ID database.

DMesg Log

The app should be able to show the dmesg log from the firmware.

Codeplug Message Editing

Close this issue when the Quick Text templates can be edited entirely on the phone. Contacts, ListenGroups, Channels, and Zones will follow later.

Channels in SQL Database

The channels aren't yet stored in the SQL database. Close this issue when they are.
