I'm Oleksii. I work as a full-time software engineer at Uber. In my spare time, I do open-sourcing.

Most of my open-source 🚀 projects below 👇🏻 are focused on one thing - to help people learn 📚. You may use these projects to learn about algorithms in JavaScript and get prepared for technical interviews, or to learn Python syntax and start experimenting with machine learning algorithms and the math behind them, etc.

There are also other projects that I've developed for fun but that you might find useful, like ✍🏻 okso.app online drawing app.

I also write 📝 articles about life, web development and machine learning.

Can't access camera MacOS 10.15.7 Chrome 91.0.4472.114

Even though I am able to access my built-in camera using Chrome (e.g. https://webcamtests.com/) I cannot access the camera using the webapp at https://trekhleb.dev/
I tried both apps at https://trekhleb.dev/machine-learning-experiments/#/
I checked my Chrome settings and the site is allowed access to my camera.

Repository is too heavy because of the models

Save the models outside of this repo to make it more lightweight.

Not able to draw digits using phone

Opened first demo on phone, does not draw in canvas area.

Blank canvas in digit detection reports as '5'

Should have a 'not digit' result?

Camera access fails for Chrome on iOS

Camera access fails for Chrome on iOS with the message "Camera access is not supported in your browser".

Unable to generate legible recipes using colab notebook

Hi, not sure if this repo is still actively maintained. I was playing around with the recipe generation but after the colab was run the results were mostly gibberish. Super short illegible recipes with tons of end characters. Has anyone else experienced this?
