This is a new issue I only heard of today, according to someone in the Flatscreen to VR Discord, it should be able to be fixed by downgrading MelonLoader to version 0.5.1 instead of the latest 0.5.3.
If that doesn't, you could try installing the latest alpha build of MelonLoader.

I had exactly the same issue, and it worked fine with 0.5.2.

Works with 0.5.2 so I assume it's an upstream issue
from dawnvr.
Related Issues (16)
- Some sequences (locked into a single position, common in the dreams) like to move the player around after cutscenes
- Some indoor scenes swap between roomscale working fine and being broken after cutscenes
- Held items are visible on Chloe's mesh
- Interaction menu text can get hidden behind objects
- Pre-rendered videos are displayed on the UIRenderer HOT 1
- Create bindings for WMR and put controls in README
- Sometimes when swapping scenes (only collectors mode afaik) the game will never get past the loading screen. HOT 1
