Introduction

TrinityCore is a MMORPG Framework based mostly in C++.

It is derived from MaNGOS, the Massive Network Game Object Server, and is based on the code of that project with extensive changes over time to optimize, improve and cleanup the codebase at the same time as improving the in-game mechanics and functionality.

It is completely open source; community involvement is highly encouraged.

If you wish to contribute ideas or code, please visit our site linked below or make pull requests to our Github repository.

For further information on the TrinityCore project, please visit our project website at TrinityCore.org.

Requirements

Software requirements are available in the wiki for Windows, Linux and macOS.

Install

Detailed installation guides are available in the wiki for Windows, Linux and macOS.

Reporting issues

Issues can be reported via the Github issue tracker.

Please take the time to review existing issues before submitting your own to prevent duplicates.

In addition, thoroughly read through the issue tracker guide to ensure your report contains the required information. Incorrect or poorly formed reports are wasteful and are subject to deletion.

Submitting fixes

C++ fixes are submitted as pull requests via Github. For more information on how to properly submit a pull request, read the how-to: maintain a remote fork. For SQL only fixes, open a ticket; if a bug report exists for the bug, post on an existing ticket.

ymir's Issues

crash

newest sniffer version crash at game loading

ymir does not work with VPN

They should take this into account, because there are countries that cannot use the ymir, because they must use VPN to enter Blizzard. I think the solution should not be so difficult.
I explain: With vpn and ymir you can enter the game and do everything but ymir generates the empty .pkt file.

49679 release don't work for latest game build 49741

The program exits with an error and does not create the dump/ folder

I can't copy text, here is a screenshot:
https://paste.pics/O6PUA

First line translate:
GetWoWProcessList(): System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (299): Request ReadProcessMemory or WriteProcessMemory was only partially fulfilled.

Fix it in the next release, please.

TBC PTR support

Hello! Sorry if this appears needy or whiny, but I was wondering if the TBC PTR will be supported again eventually. It was very useful for me and probably others that don't currently play on Retail too.

out of date

I'm just passing by to say that the game has updated again hahaha

v 10.1.0.49426

Ymir terminate while WoW login (ymir_retail_10.2.0.52808)

Npcap-1.78 is installed with "Npcap in WinPcap API-compatible Mode" and not restricted to admin only.
Deleting cache and starting Ymir with the batch provided - so far so good.

Starting WoW with wow.exe does work until the point where you enter credentials and login.
Somewhere in the login process ymir (and wow) terminate with the following output.

The opcode shown always changes on a new try (I guess because the termination already started?)

In the other open issue I found the same problem at the top but no solution did work (starting ymir/wow 20 times in a row and even reboot)

Wrath PTR support

Sorry for this one being short notice, but I'm curious if Wrath PTR support will/can be added. The announcement of the pre-patch zombie invasion testing has me a bit anxious!
