Compute the complex absolute of the DFT

Because the output of the DFT is complex and it has to be converted to the magnitudes, the complex absolute has to be computed to each of the samples for accurate results instead of just taking the real part of the complex numbers.

Crashes or displays an all-black window

Hi!

I built and tried vsp today and sometimes it crashes at right at startup…

…and if it doesn't crash it displays an all-black window (despite using the right audio device). I can debug this more if there is interest.

Use rectangles than connected lines

Make device selectable from CLI

The program uses a default device for SDL which is non-configurable. It should list what devices are available for capturing and a option to explicit a certain capture source else the default.

SDL window freezes while resizing

Restrict minimum bin to 20hZ

Pre 20-hZ sound is inaudible to humans, so in a logarithmic scale it is a waste of space to show those bins.

Switch to CMake

Meson is simply a probonchona for cross-platform compilation. It asks for pkg-config in Windows, which is only available through either WSL or MinGW or Cygwin.

Restrict spectrum to 20-20000 Hz

Humans are unable to hear past ultrasound (20 kHz) and below infrasound (20 Hz) so its logical to exclude those.

Clarify license

Is it GPL3 only or GPL3-or-later? please specify this somewhere

Dysfunctioning on Windows

It was built through MSYS2 MinGW 64-bit, --list-devices detects the available devices.

Outputs std::exception two times on the console and exits, which indicates some kind of exception is thrown. .what() method does not show any description of the error at all, perhaps it is supposed to behave like so or because of some environment configuration it suppresses additional message.
