We use this plugin to display indexmenu in it. Sometimes I have the problem, that clicking on the index button does not cause the overlay to appear but "nothing" happens and sometimes the overlay-window appears with "Att/Det" written at the top of this window. Myron already answered that this could be related to cookies, which cannot be saved. If this occurs, I cannot make use of this overlay-function.
I now updated to a new Macbook Pro with High Sierra and the problem reappeared. All the methods I used before to "solve" the problem (deleting caches, deleting history, deleting Safari-preferences) did not help. To open a "private window" always helps to solve the problem, but of course this is not the way I would like to solve it.

I am a little bit lost, because I do not know, how to solve my problem now. It may be related to my specific configuration of the operating system but I do not know.

Am I the only one with this problem? Has anybody got a solution (for me)?

I just installed the new bootstrap-template. It seems that the resize-location of the popup-window moves with the scrolling within this window and does not remain at its lower right edge (as it should be)

The position remains fixed, but the window becomes smaller after each reload. The overlay probably shrinks by the width of the scrollbars.
Does not affect firefox! I test with Chromium

In my wiki I have the following structure:

root
|
+ sidebar (all can view it)
+ private
    |
    + sidebar (only I can view it)

So, the your:nav_page has always the same name but its content is different depending on at which namespace it belongs.

Is it possible to add the possibility to use the syntax described here https://www.dokuwiki.org/namespaces (see the table with the examples)?

Many of our users noted (and complained about) a considerable page slowdown as soon as this plugin was activated. On the other hand I think that it is extremely useful. Is there anything we could do regarding the page slowdown? We are running the DW Hogfather release.

In my hogfather test-wiki, searchindex manager does not "work", if plugin dokuwiki-nav-overlay is active. As soon as it is deactivated, searchindex manager is capable to do its job.
In case of further interest I can perform more tests.
