watchface-template

Requires Python 2.7.x.

Usage:

• Clone the repo and give it a new name (denoted here by <new-watchface-name>)

   git clone [email protected]:twotoasters/watchface-template.git <new-watchface-name>
  

• Navigate into the newly created folder with your repo and run the project generation script with the desired input parameter values

   cd <new-watchface-name>
   ./generate-project.py -w <watchfaceName> -a <appName> -p <packageName>
  

• Remove the Git history and re-add the dependent watchface-gears submodule

   rm -rf .git
   rm -rf submodules/watchface-gears
   git init
   git submodule add [email protected]:twotoasters/watchface-gears.git submodules/watchface-gears
  

• Start implementing your watchface in the wear module's Watchface class

watchface-template's Issues

round or square using different drawables

Is there a way to add a different drawable for square and round watches so we can take advantage of squares extra screen? I'm new to coding and been looking around but haven't found one that makes sense. Thanks

Newbie Issue

I don't feel that there is an issue with the code, I imagine it works great. My issue is newbie related, and it would be great if you could add something to the readme.

I'm am trying to run/debug this and I don't know the proper configurations. My wear app, says 'Default Activity not found', as does the mobile app. Could you please add something in the readme on how to get this running? I have updated my images and it looks nice in the preview window, and now I'm ready to see it in either the emulator or on a device.

SyntaxError: unexpected EOF while parsing in generate-project.py

Hey, thank you for your awesome template. However I'm getting the following error while trying to run generate-project.py:
