Still being worked on? about simple-php-framework

Yep, still being maintained. I'm building a new web app with it today,
actually. The framework is in a really stable state after seven years of
development. That's why there haven't been many commits lately - it all
works quite well.

Let me know if you have any questions or improvement ideas.

Ok cool, I am working with a friend and we have built a site monitoring service in raw php5. We are looking to use some sort of framework...will this be able to handle it?

Currently our code is quite bad, because we wanted to see if we could get it working and we did. Now we have to really really really clean it up (almost to the point where we need to re-write it completely). I can send you the folder so you can look and see if we are a candidate for this framework...my friend wants to use Zend, but I am trying to keep it simple because I am newer to PHP than he is and also think Zend would be overkill for us.

Sorry, but I don't have time at the moment for that.

The Simple PHP Framework isn't really so much a framework as it is a
foundation. It's primarily a set of helpful classes that do basic user
authentication, database calls, and some lightweight ActiveRecord. It
typically fits in nicely with any project that doesn't need one of the
heavyweight frameworks.
