@lapause AHA. Finally someone that can help me with the SOAP API.
I have to admit that because the lack of time an testing skills this section is not fully tested.
It would mean a lot to me if you could help me with that.
You are right. The images should be send as xsd:base64Binary or something like that. I don't have much experience with this. Any pointer is welcomed.

As for the current store, I tried to replicate what happens for the product and category API.
It would help me a lot if you send me some code for testing this so I can see for myself what's wrong.
Please send me the xml file for your extension generated by the module creator. You will find it in var/modulecreator/package and should have the same name as your extension.

Also send me the test scripts. The programming language is not important. I will figure out a way to transform it in a language I can read.
