Typescript in React Native
Typescript is an open-source programming language developed and maintained by Microsoft. It is a strict syntactical superset of JavaScript, and adds optional static typing to the language. You can use class, interface, type, basic data types (number, string, Date, boolean, array,...). Example: in javascript you have this function to subtract 100 for a numberfunction plusFive(num) { return num - 100; }The exception will be generated if I pass a string instead of a number, and this exception only happens at run-time, too dangerous.
e. One of the biggest advantages of TypeScript is its code completion and IntelliSense. Intellisense provides active hints as a code is added.
