Some JavaScript bookmarklets I use occasionally, collected from around the web and potentially modified by me.

Usage

The snippets below should work fine if pasted into the URL parameter of the new page/bookmark dialog for Chrome or Firefox. If you're poking at the source files be sure to add javascript:. If you run into any validation issues you may need to minify or URL encode the script before adding it.

Functions

Dump Cookies

Pops open a page containing cookies for the current site. This does not work for HttpOnly cookies.

Dump Comments

A bit rough but pops open a page with a decent portion of obvious HTML comments from a page.

Dump Variables

Will pop open a page containing all javascript variables on the page at the time it bookmarklet was called.

Dump Scripts

Will pop open a page containing plaintext versions of the scripts present on the page.¹

Show Hidden Form Fields

This will show form elements marked as 'hidden'.¹

Enable Disabled Form Fields

This will allow you to edit form fields that are marked as disabled.¹

Deleet

Converts some 1337 back to a more readable format. Mostly here as a reminder of a more cringey time, but also sometimes some really annoying stuff shows up on Pastebin.¹

Increment / Decrement URL

Adds or substracts from the last number found in your current URL. Can be interestingly useful at times since it's a bit fuzzy on matching.¹

Decrement
