Currently dn2l uses Turbo Vision fork based on Borland's code. It's license status is uncertain, so we should switch to Free Vision of Free Pascal. This work is being done in separate branch currently:

Is there a chance I could download the executable, without having to build it myself? init.sh currently doesn't work, because apparently it's not aware of case-sensitive filesystems. It's trying to call vp, but it's really VP, and I made a bunch of symlinks, but something else refused to work, it's just a bit too much.

But I'd love to see DN again for nostalgia reasons, especially the tetris. :-D
