Hello!
Yes the behavior is attended in this repository. Cfg_w = 0 will ignore the unconditional prediction. Please see https://arxiv.org/abs/2301.00704 paper (section 2.7)
To get an unconditional prediction you will have to set cfg_w = -1 and remove the linear warm-up ==> "_w = w" , see line 374 in vit.py
