Installed Fedora and can confirm that editing the steam.desktop file in /usr/share/applications and removing "PrefersNonDefaultGPU=true" allows Dota 2 to launch as expected. A logout or restart may be required after editing.

Hello @lennie420, your symptoms and system information looks similar to #200. Does completely closing Steam, then running steam from a terminal have an effect on the issue you're seeing?

Hi @kisak-valve, thanks for the response. Sorry I forgot to mention this but yes I had tried running steam from terminal before and can confirm that it launches when doing it this way.

For a Fossilize dev, this is a continuation of #200 since that issue report was closed by the reporter.

This no longer seems to be an issue. Running without issue on Fedora 38.
