mojito's Issues

Switching to other Mint page and then back to Overview causes Mojito to lose sorting

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Login to Mint.com.
  2. Mint will take you to the Overview page (i.e overview.event)
  3. On the top of the page click on any of the following links to go to other page: Transactions | Budgets| Goals | Trends
  4. On the top of the page click on Overview.
  5. The Overview page will now load and after a brief delay the accounts section on the left will be shown out of ordrer. The toggle to hide accounts with zero balance is also ignored.

Notes:

  1. This does not happens when clicking on the Investments or Ways to Save page and then Back to Overview.
  2. This only happens when using the links inside Mint. If for example you have a bookmark to the Overview Page in you Chrome favorites, this bug will not happen. I suspect that using the Mint links is not a full page refresh and is running some additional Javascript

mojito is asking for permissions

It looks like you've monetized. You should probably update your readme on here and/or explain why mojito is seeking permissions that aren't reflecting in the source here.

Suggestion: Budget Enhancements

I forked this project a while ago mainly because I wanted to add some functionality to the Budget module on the Overview page, but didn't have the time. These include:

  1. Add sorting capability to category and percentage
  2. Combining categories (addresses https://mint.lc.intuit.com/questions/1034188)
  3. Excluding a category from being factored in the Total bar (eg. categories such as Rent is usually a monthly transaction which skews the total "progress" bar)

I don't have much experience developing Chrome extensions, but would like to start. When I have time, I can work on this and submit a pull request if no one picks this up.

Percentages in Budgets

I can work on this (eventually) but I'm creating an issue to see if I can get pointed in the right direction + get any feedback from anyone else contributing to the project.

It would be handy to be able to view (and maybe even edit) budgets in mint as a percentage of the income specified by the budget.

For example, if I have income this month budgeted at $100, it would be nice to at least see that my savings (budgeted for $20) is 20% of my planned income.

It would also be nice to be able to adjust the percentages and use the updated percentages to readjust the dollar amount budgeted.

Add ability to hide any zero balance accounts

Just like the current feature to hide zero balance credit cards, it would be nice to be able to hide zero balance bank/investment accounts.

I wouldn't mind tackling this if you're ok with the feature.

Suggestion: Checkbox to approve transactions and indicator icon for notes

This is a feature that I would like to start implementing if I get the time. The related issues reported to Mint can be found here and here.

Requirement for this is that the user defines the "Approved" tag so that we can look up the checkbox value and make it save on the server. The approved checkbox is displayed next to each transaction.

If we can do this then another similar feature would be to show an icon next to transactions that have a note. The way it is implemented in Mint right now is just so dumb that you have to open the edit pane for each transaction to see if it has a note or not. That makes notes pretty useless and they don't seem to care to fix it. See this related issue.

Thanks!

Possible submission to put the budget 'progress line' from overview page on the budget page.t

Hi. I like the overlaid vertical bar on the budget panel in the overview page - the one which shows how far through the month you are so you know if you are on track or not.

AFAICT you can't turn this on in the main budget page, only the overview

I was playing around and wrote my own chrome extension to do just this. If you're interested I can try to splice it into mojito and submit the change. My experience is mostly in backends though so I may need a little hand holding to iron out some details. LMK if you're interested.

No longer updated?

Is my understanding correct that with the new monetization scheme, this repo will no longer be supported/updated?

Trying to figure out how pull requests/external contributions work (if at all) with the new subscription model.

Feature Suggestion: Filer Accounts List

I have a very large number of accounts. I would like to name the accounts with keywords so that I can filter out groups of accounts [if there is a way to filter the accounts list?]
