About the current semester

With "JavaScript Applications" students will learn what HTTP requests are and how to use them, what REST Services are, what a Baas (backend as a service) is and how to work with it, what asynchronous code means (Promises, using async / await), what Templating and Routing are. During the semester every student will create a Single Page Application, using the techniques learned from previous lectures, where they will be assessed. Students will learn what the architecture of an application is and how to properly structure an applications. Towards the end of the semester students will look at different design templates and their practical direction, they will create their own web components using the Web Components standard and they will build a Webpack environment from scratch.

About the presented homework

  • Every solution is correct.
  • The difficulty in the different assignments is increasing with the first being easiest and the last being hardest or with other words in ascending order.
  • In a subfolder in every solution's folder, there is the description for it.
  • These are simple solutions done with the knowledge I have accumulate so far and of course they can go under further optimization.
  • For the majority of the solutions a server is required, it can be found in the different folders, with some updates done to it within the different projects.
  • The server is very basic, it's only for educational purposes, it has no validation or real security implemented.
