SportsGoa_2020

“SportsGoa” is a website based multiuser system where the upcoming and ongoing sports events in the state of Goa records are captured. There are 2 main categories of events:

University level tournaments:

The tournaments or events that come under or are organised by University

Local level tournaments:

The tournaments or events that are organised by privates clubs or organisations other than the university For now, there are 5 types of games included, i.e. cricket, football, volleyball, badminton and hockey.

List of technologies used:

HTML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, php and bootstrap (front-end framework)

Installation

1. Install XAMPP or WAMPP.

2. Open XAMPP Control panal and start [apache] and [mysql] .

3. Download project from github(https://github.com/vedparsekar/SportsGoa_2020.git).

OR follow gitbash commands

cd C:\\xampp\htdocs\

git clone https://github.com/vedparsekar/SportsGoa_2020.git 

4. Extract files in C:\xampp\htdocs.

5. Open link localhost/phpmyadmin , create database (sportsgoa) hit on create button.

6. After creating database name click on import, and browse the file in directory [database/sportsgoa2020.sql].

7. Open any browser and type http://localhost/SportsGoa 2020.
