search.maxUniqueTimeseries: "1000000" works fine. Unfortunately this is helm parsing issue (helm/helm#1707)

please escape "." in set and use
--set-string
helm template victoria-metrics-cluster . --set-string vmstorage.extraArgs."search\.maxUniqueTimeseries"=1000000from helm-charts.
