I'm able to reproduce, but...

Supporting UWP requires upgrade to .NET 4.6+, which breaks XP support. PinWin currently works on XP for those really old PCs (yes, I have those users).

I am trying to gauge interest to justify framework upgrade. Please feel free to vote and/or add comments on this ticket. If I do upgrade, it will be on another/new repo.

Just adding my vote here to upgrade the framework. Anyone on XP should already be ashamed anyways.

@RVL-Solutions Total Commander supports all Windows from 3.1 through 11. https://www.ghisler.com/

Thanks and excuse my possible ignorance, but I don't see how Total Commander' support coverage is relevant to PinWin?

@RVL-Solutions An example when author maintains a wide range of supported OS in a single product. This approach typically has trade-offs in terms of what can be done, and what can feasibly be done. I shared this example to prove that not all tools support just Windows 10, despite the industry pushing towards it, which inevitably drives public opinion and expectations.

Regarding UWP support, check this out:

Sounds like UWP is dead, same with MS Store, might not be feasible to support it. The article is from 2019.
