test's Introduction

Build Status

Simple guide:

  • Step 1: cd into Desktop/STR

  • Step 2: git pull

  • Step 3: git add .

  • Step 4: git commit -m 'insert str describing commit here'

  • Step 5: git push

  • git pull ensures that the folder you're working on is up to date with the files that are on github

  • git add . adds all modified and new files to your commit staging queue

  • git commit records any changes to the repository while the -m supplies the message that describes your commit (what the message on the blue bar below the green clone or download button says)

  • git push makes the github repo match the commit change

NOTE: While this is the most common git workflow, it is not a particularly good one. Better workflows will be created and updated.
