lavanda-gtk-theme's Issues

xfce menus having mac-like buttons

I can see Firefox having Minimize, Maximize and Close button like on your screenshot, probably because it depends on the Gnome theme.

But everywhere else the buttons are yellow, green and red.

Top panel transparency

Hello, very nice theme !

I just have a small problem with the top panel transparency, as I use the dark theme with a quite light background there is a big contrast between the panel color and the windows when fullscreen.
I changed the value in gnome-shell.css to make the panel always opaque but I wondered if there was a way to have a dynamic transparency ?

Apart from this small issue, this theme is awesome !

[BUG] Dark mode didn't work on Gnome 46 (Wayland) after installing

System infomation:

OS: Arch Linux x86_64
Host: HP ProBook 450 G2
DE: Gnome 46.2
WM: Mutter (Wayland)
WM Theme: Lavanda-Dark
Theme: Lavanda-Dark [GTK2/3/4]
Icons: Colloid-dracula-dark [GTK2/3/4]
Font: Cantarell (11pt) [GTK2/3/4]

Terminal: warp v0.2024.05.21.16.09.stable_02

edit: it is only for the gnome preinstalled apps and title bar in some apps, other than that it works fine

Bottom dock outer space

How can I remove the outer space of the bottom dock?

It looks good in dock mode. However, this will introduce an issue when switching to panel mode.

theme

There is no option in install.sh to change theme.

Support for GNOME 44

The theme doesn't support "Enhanced Quick Settings" as you can see the [Wi-Fi] [Bluetooth] [VPN] and [Power Mode] are not working as intended in GNOME 44 per the screenshot below.

When I come across additional bugs and I will update you as I encounter them.

macOS button

Hello Vinceliuice, I love your themes and other great artwork!

I want this theme to have a macOS-style button, is that possible?

GTK4 version

Yo, wanna ask, will be a GTK4 version of this theme?

Request: change volume OSD background color to light in light variants

Hi! Thanks again for this great theme :).

The volume slider OSD which appears when pressing the volume keys has a dark background, even on light variants of Lavanda. It looks a little out of place:

image

I was able to fix this by altering the definition of $osd in src/sass/_colors.scss to the following:

$osd: if($variant == "light", background(a), background(f));

Internal Error: Not enough space

gnome 44, arch linux, latest everything.

running ./install.sh -c dark -l gives this

GNOME Shell 44.1
Installing '/home/user/.themes/Lavanda-Dark'...
Internal Error: Not enough space
Internal Error: Not enough space
Installing '/home/user/.themes/Lavanda-Sea-Dark'...
Internal Error: Not enough space
Internal Error: Not enough space

Link '/home/user/.themes/Lavanda-Dark/gtk-4.0' to '/home/user/.config/gtk-4.0' for libadwaita...

Done.

as a consequence, gtk3 theme is not applied.

Install does not work if the source folder has spaces in its name

I couldn't install the theme, as there were errors on cp and sed lines. This is because I have spaces in the name of many folders. With some little fixes in the install.sh file, it works.

Git diff (let me know if you need more information):

部分应用的标题栏按钮显示异常

运行平台:archlinux+gnome+wayland
现象:安装主题并选择主题后,chromium和firefox浏览器标题栏按钮显示正常,eclipse标题栏按钮显示异常。视觉上按钮的padding明显比其他软件大。
截图中最底层的窗口是标题栏异常窗口,最顶层的窗口为对比窗口。三个窗口同使用gtk3开发,标题栏按钮不能保持统一

Broken backdrop coloring on KiCAD 7.0.5

Hi! I'm a big fan of this theme and all your work.

I'm running into a tough issue with using Lavanda on KiCAD. It seems like all the backdrops on most menus are the wrong color:

image

We should expect the titlebar as well as most of the body elements to have dark backgrounds, but for some reason they don't. Poking around with the GTK debugger shows that the broken backgrounds are transparent, so maybe there's something misconfigured at the root level of the window? However, I'm far from an expert, so I can't really tell.

This issue doesn't seem to exist in Adwaita.

Dark Theme

Hi great theme. I'm using manjaro and gnome 43.2 but the dark theme doesn't apply to file manager and a few other apps

Cinnamon theme adjustment

Hello everything is fine?

The Lavender theme is the best I've found for Linux Mint Cinnamon.

Could you adjust the Lavender theme to have a separation, with a different background color, of the title bar, options menu bar?

It would be nice to set a different color for the title bar.

It would be nice to set a different color for the toolbar.

It would be cool to set a different color for the options menu.

I would be grateful if you would make a version of Lavanda dark with these modifications.

Gnome 45 Update

Hi Vince, I love this theme, thank you for all your work.

Would it be possible to get a blackness tweak variant of this theme and also updated to gnome 45?

Thanks so much
