How to install

Tactical Intervention Revived will install the whole game as part of the setup process. No previous installs of Tactical Intervention are required.

1. Download the latest version of Tactical Intervention Revived (Under 'Assets' select Tactical-Intervention-Revived-Setup-X.X.X.exe with the X being the version numbers)
2. Run the launcher installer you just downloaded
3. Open the launcher, follow the automated steps to download and install the game files
4. That's it, simple!

Legal

Tactical Intervention Revived is a fan project to restore the abadonware game Tactical Intervention.

Tactical Intervention was a free-to-play game released on Steam, developed by Fix Korea Games. Fix Korea Games no longer exists and Tactical Intervention Revived is considered abandonware. The intent of this project is simply to maintain the old state of the game in the best state possible.

If the IP owner of Tactical Intervention wishes, Tactical Intervention Revived will be removed immediatley.

Why does it need administrator permissions?

To enable Tactical Intervention Revived's awesome mod support, all the game content files are linked to the game directory virtually with symlinks. To create symlinks on Windows, administrator permissions are required. These symlinks create a 'portal' to files in other locations, tricking the source engine to load the virtual file system that Tactical Intervention Revived creates.

Error reading the remote package.json file (connect UNKOWN 185.199.108.133:443 - Local (undefined: undefined))

Running the launcher with wine or proton results in this:

I tried installing in a virtual machine and transferring it, but it still threw me this error. No idea what it means.

Unable to update.

Running the installer just prompts this error, not sure where the files are being grabbed from but its offline.

Translation support

I want to translate game and launcher for Russian but it seems translations not supported for now.

Upd; Nevermind, game has translation files, but font might not support Russian symbols.
So i hope that launcher will have translations support too and maybe there will be translations repository so anyone can help with translation of Tactical Intervention

Game stuck on loading screen after setting server password

Hi, Im trying to set a password on my server with the command "sv_password mypassword". When I try to join, the game gets stuck on the loading screen:

Can you fix this bug and add an option to set the server password on the "Create Server" menu?

Setup screen requires keypress instead of clicking "Finish"

When setting up a new user the Setup screen will pop up and unless you press Enter on the username it won't continue, The "Finish" button is broken.

.cfg editor doesn't work

The .cfg editor doesn't work at all on version 1.0.2

laggy

for some reason, this game is LAGGY. like, REALLY LAGGY. i can't even move. and i can run source games fine, i can even run source 2 games with no lag. why is it so laggy?
