cityhenge's Introduction

CityHenge

The CityHenge visualization was developed originally as an idea to display the use of VECKNIK with OpenStreetMap data. The map shows the sunset angle across New York City for every day of the year, allowing you to find Manhattanhenge events year round.

There is some more info about the project on this blog post

cityhenge's Issues

Localizing Data

I'm trying to localize the data used to generate the highlighted street overlays.

I believe it comes from a CartoDb table, based on this line of code in map.html:
initMap({y: 38.25,x: -85.7667, z: 13, account: 'viz2', table: 'ny', offset: '-4'});

What is a direct link to this table, and how do you fill it with data for another city?

Thanks!
