gaslandsgarage's Introduction

Hey there Stranger.

Welcome to the Garage.

You looking for a new ride? Well you came to the right place. We'll build you the ride of your life. Or maybe your death. Someone's death, anyways. It's up to you who makes it through that final gate. You gonna live long enough to ride to fame, fortune and a ticket to Mars? Or you gonna burn up and die trying?

Either way, if you get your ride from the Gaslands Garage, the audience is gonna love you.

So let's get building!

Gaslands Garage

What is Gaslands?

Gaslands is a miniatures game set on post-apocalyptic Earth, where players compete to earn a ticket off world by racing and fighting in armed, modified vehicles. Think Mad Max, only with Matchbox cars.

Learn more on the Gaslands website or Facebook group.

Buy the gamefrom your FLGS or direct from Osprey Publishing. It's a bargain for the amount of fun it delivers.

FAQ

Why do the descriptions only include a page reference and not the full rules?

Mike contacted me and asked me to remove them. In his words, "the text of the rulebook is all I have". I have kept enough to jog your memory but not to play the game if you don't already have the rules.

TX2 Content Not on Site?

I was sad that the site didn’t have the sponsor, weapon, and perks from TX2 and was going to offer to add them. When I got here to the GitHub it seems they were added and pulled a couple months ago, but they still don’t show up on the website.

Local Development

I was looking to run this locally to make sure I hadn't broken anything. I installed vagrant, but vagrant up barfed because there's no vendor directory. In particular, it wants: vendor/laravel/homestead/scripts/homestead.rb.

Does/could this be set up to just be runnable with the webpack dev sever for local development (as long as you don't need to test login/save/load?)
